Organized Divyangjan Utsav On 14th October 2016
Vision Divyang Foundation (VDF) 2016 organized Divyangjan Utsav on 14th October 2016 at Talkatora Indoor stadium, New Delhi on the eve of the birth anniversary of (Bharat Ratna) Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam- Former President of India to pay tribute to him . In this event more than one thousand five hundred children with disabilities and without disabilities, their Parents, Children From Inclusive Schools, Honorable Ministers, Honorable Member of Parliament, Guests and Persons from Disability Sector and Physiologist attended the event with full enthusiasm and vigour. Various cultural programmes, performances prepared by the Pwds, CWSN, NGOs, Children from different schools and their stakeholders were enacted. The event was well covered by the Newspapers & Media and appreciated by people from all walks of life. Several projects for the welfare of the PwDs were launched along with literature for creating awareness and sensitization among the masses. A souvenir was released to mark the occasion.
