a. Therapeutic Services:
Physical Therapy for mobility-related issues.
Occupational Therapy for enhancing daily life skills.
Speech Therapy for individuals with communication challenges.
b. Assistive Devices:
Assessment and distribution of aids and appliances through ALIMCO.
c. Identification and Support:
Early identification of disabilities.
Referral services to specialized institutions or hospitals.
d. Awareness & Capacity Building:
Community awareness programs about disability and inclusion.
Support services for family and caregivers.
a. Disability Criteria:
Persons with benchmark disabilities (40% and above) as per RPwD Act, 2016.
b. Age Criteria:
All age groups are eligible depending on the need for assessment, therapy, or rehabilitation.
c. Income Criteria:
No income limit applies for availing DDRC services.
a. Visit DDRC:
Go to the nearest District Disability Rehabilitation Centre.
Consult the staff for assessment or therapy needs.
b. Service Enrolment:
Submit required documents (UDID, medical reports, etc.).
Undergo evaluation for eligibility and referral to services.
a. Mandatory Documents:
UDID card or disability certificate (≥ 40% disability).
Medical records or therapy prescriptions (if already under care).
b. Optional/Supporting Documents:
Aadhar card or other government ID.
Photographs (for aid/appliance issue or records).
Any doctor’s referrals or previous diagnostic reports.
