Marriage Assistance to Daughters of Differently Abled Parents (Parinayam-I)

Details

To provide financial assistance to differently-abled parents for the marriage of their daughters.

Benefits

One-time Assistance:

1. ₹30,000/- for the marriage of each daughter

2. Maximum of two daughters per applicant

3. Application for the second daughter's marriage can be submitted only after 3 years of the first grant

Eligibility

A. Disability Criteria:

1. Parent must have 40% or more disability as per RPwD Act 2016

B. Residential Criteria:

1. Must be a permanent resident of Kerala

C. Income Criteria:

1. Annual family income should not exceed ₹1,00,000/-

D. Marriage Conditions:

1. The bride should have completed 18 years of age at the time of application

2. The bride must be the daughter of the differently-abled applicant

Application Process (Offline)

A. Obtain and Submit:

1. Application form can be obtained from District Social Justice Offices

2. Submit the filled application form along with required documents to the same office

Documents Required

A. Identity and Relationship Proof:

1. Attested copy of Ration Card

2. Birth Certificate of the bride issued by Corporation/Municipality/Panchayat showing parentage

B. Disability Proof:

1. UDID Card of the differently-abled parent

C. Income Proof:

1. Family Income Certificate from the concerned Village Officer
