To provide free residential education, shelter, and food to visually impaired children through government-run special schools.

Eligibility

A. Disability Criteria:

  1. Must have Visual Impairment as defined under the RPwD Act, 2016

  2. Disability percentage must be above 40%

B. Residential Criteria:

  1. Open to residents of any district in Karnataka

C. Age Criteria:

  1. Applicable for all age groups

Application Process (Offline)

A. Visit the nearest Special School or District Disabled Welfare Office (DDWO)
B. Fill and submit the application form along with required documents
C. Admission is subject to seat availability
