To promote self-employment and economic independence among persons with disabilities by providing financial support in the form of bank loans with government subsidy.
A. Financial support for self-employment:
50% bank loan
50% subsidy provided by the Department
B. Helps persons with disabilities start or sustain self-employment ventures
C. Enables financial inclusion and dignity in livelihood
A. Disability Criteria:
Must have a Benchmark Disability (as per RPwD Act, 2016)
Disability must be above 40%
B. Age Criteria:
Applicant should be 18 years or above
C. Geographic Criteria:
Applicant must be a resident of Karnataka
D. No additional restrictions on caste, gender, or income (as per available data)
A. Visit your District Disabled Welfare Office (DDWO)
B. Submit application along with required documents
C. Proposal forwarded for loan sanction and subsidy processing via approved banks
