A. Loan Amount & Subsidy (Based on Category):
SC/ST Women:
Unit cost: ₹1,00,000 to ₹3,00,000
Subsidy: 50% of loan amount
Income limit: ₹2,00,000/year
Special Category & General Category Women:
Maximum unit cost: ₹3,00,000
Subsidy: 30% or ₹90,000 (whichever is lower)
Income limit: ₹1,50,000/year
Widowed / Disabled Women (including PwD):
No income limit applies
B. Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) Training is provided for selected beneficiaries
A. Disability Requirement:
Must have a Benchmark Disability (>40%) as per RPwD Act, 2016
B. Gender & Age:
Only for women applicants
Age between 18 to 55 years
C. Domicile:
Must be a permanent resident of Karnataka
D. Loan Default:
Must not have defaulted on any previous loans
Step 1: Online Application
A. Visit the official website of banks offering Udyogini loans or the Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD) Karnataka
B. Submit application form with documents
C. Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) does spot verification and sends to Selection Committee
Step 2: Bank Sanction
A. Bank or Karnataka State Finance Corporation (KSFC) verifies proposal
B. Bank sends subsidy request to the concerned department
C. Loan is sanctioned and either:
Transferred to the beneficiary’s account, or
Directly paid to vendors/suppliers (for machinery, tools, etc.)
