To train and sensitize key functionaries of the Central and State Governments, local bodies, and other service providers to effectively implement disability-related laws and schemes for persons with benchmark disabilities
a. Capacity Building:
Training on disability rights, accessibility, and inclusive practices.
Orientation on the RPwD Act, 2016 and welfare schemes.
b. Sensitization:
Promotes attitudinal change toward persons with disabilities.
Encourages inclusive service delivery across departments.
c. Institutional Strengthening:
Strengthens service delivery through better-informed government and service personnel.
a. Participants:
Key functionaries from Central and State Government departments, local bodies, police, judiciary, health, education, etc.
b. Age Criteria:
Participants must be 18 years and above.
c. Disability Requirement:
Not applicable for trainees (they are sensitizers, not beneficiaries).
d. Income Criteria:
No income limit applies.
There is no offline application process for individuals.
For Implementing Agencies:
RCI recognition certificate.
Proposal as per scheme format.
Participant list and identification proof.
Detailed budget and training module.
Compliance reports post-training.
