Details

To provide vocational training to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and enhance their employability by equipping them with practical skills.

Benefits

A. Skill Development Opportunities:

  1. Training is provided in trades such as:
    a. Fitter
    b. Turner
    c. Light Engineering
    d. Plastic Moulding
    e. Cane Wiring, etc.

B. Government-Supported Institutions:

  1. 6 training centres operate with 100% financial assistance from the State Government.

  2. Each centre trains 25 PwDs every year.

Eligibility

A. Disability Requirement:

  1. Applicant must have Benchmark Disability (≥ 40%) as per RPwD Act 2016

B. Age Requirement:

  1. Must be 18 years or older

C. Other Conditions:

  1. No income, education, or gender restrictions specified

Application Process (Offline)

A. Visit the nearest District Disabled Welfare Office or Training Centre
B. Collect the application form for vocational training
C. Submit the filled form with required documents
D. Authorities will screen and admit eligible candidates

Documents Required

  1. Aadhar Card

  2. UDID Card (showing ≥ 40% disability)
