Unemployment Allowance to the Educated Unemployed Persons with Disabilities

Details

To provide financial support in the form of monthly allowance to educated unemployed PwDs who remain jobless despite being registered with employment exchanges.

Benefits

₹400/- to ₹1,000/- per month (based on educational qualification or disability category, as per government guidelines)

Eligibility

A. Disability Requirement:

1. Must have 40% or more benchmark disability as per the RPwD Act, 2016

B. Age Limit:

1. Applicant must be between 18 and 48 years of age

C. Educational Qualification:

1. Must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or higher

D. Employment Registration:

1. Must be registered with Special Employment Exchange for more than two years

2. Must not have been placed in any gainful employment

E. Income Criterion:

1. Annual family income should be ₹1,80,000/- or less

Application Process (Offline)

A. Visit the District Social Welfare Office in Manipur
B. Collect the application form
C. Attach all required documents
D. Submit the form in person

A. Identity & Address Proof:

1. Aadhar Card

2. Residential/Domicile Certificate (Manipur)

B. Photographs & Disability Certificate:

1. Passport-size photograph

2. Disability Certificate (from competent authority)

C. Educational & Employment Proof:

1. Matriculation Marksheet/Passing Certificate

2. Job Seeking Certificate (from Special Employment Exchange)

D. Financial Proof:

1. Income Certificate

2. Bank account details (passbook copy)

E. Other Documents:

1. Proof of Age (Birth Certificate or equivalent)

2. Caste Certificate (if applicable for reserved category benefits)
