Details

To promote social inclusion and support persons with disabilities in forming families by providing financial assistance after marriage.

Benefits

A. Incentive Amount:

1. ₹1,00,000/- will be given as a lump-sum grant

2. Applicable in either of the following cases:
   a. A man with disability marries a woman without disability
   b. A woman with disability marries a man without disability

Eligibility

A. Disability Requirement:

1. Either husband or wife must have benchmark disability (40% or more)

2. Disability must be recognized under the RPwD Act, 2016

B. Age Criteria:

1. Male applicant must be 21 years or above

2. Female applicant must be 18 years or above

C. Other Conditions:

1. Applicant must be a native/resident of Madhya Pradesh

2. The marriage must be legally valid and conducted as per religious, social customs or court procedure

3. The applicant must not be an income taxpayer

4. Application must be made within 1 year of marriage

Application Process (Offline)

A. Collect the application form from the District Social Justice Office or download (if available)

B. Attach all required documents

C. Submit the filled form along with documents to the District Social Justice & Welfare Office

Documents Required

A. Proof of Identity & Residency:

1. Aadhar Card

2. Domicile Certificate of Madhya Pradesh

B. Proof of Disability:

1. Disability Certificate (40% or more) or UDID Card

C. Age & Marital Status Proof:

1. Birth Certificate or School Certificate (as age proof)

2. Marriage Certificate (registered or certified by competent authority)

D. Financial Status:

1. Income Declaration / Non-Taxpayer Affidavit

E. Other Documents:

1. Passport-size Photographs of both applicants
