To provide financial support (maintenance allowance) to students with disabilities to help them pursue post-matric education in government-recognized institutions across Maharashtra.
Maintenance allowance to support education-related expenses for students with disabilities.
A. The applicant must:
Be a citizen of India
Be a domicile/permanent resident of Maharashtra
Be enrolled/admitted in a school/institution recognized by the Government of Maharashtra
Have a minimum 40% benchmark disability (as per RPwD Act 2016)
There is no income limit for this scheme
A. Obtain the prescribed application form from your educational institution
B. Attach the necessary documents
C. Submit through your college or educational institute to:
District Social Welfare Office, Zilla Parishad
Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare Office, Mumbai Urban / Suburban

UDID Card
B. Residence and Academic Proof:
3. Residential / Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra
