To provide essential aids and appliances to persons with disabilities, enhancing their mobility, communication, and learning.

Benefits

A. Type of Aids/Appliances Covered:

  1. For Hearing Impaired: Hearing Aids

  2. For Orthopaedic Conditions: Crutches, Tricycles, Calipers, Wheelchairs

  3. For Visually Impaired: Tape Recorders and Blank Cassettes for Educational Use

    • Up to the cost of ₹3,000/-

B. Financial Support Based on Income:

  1. Monthly income < ₹1,500/- → 100% cost covered

  2. Monthly income ₹1,500/- to ₹2,000/- → 50% cost covered

Eligibility

A. The applicant must:

  1. Be a domicile/permanent resident of Maharashtra

  2. Have 40% or more disability

  3. Have a monthly income as per below:

    • Less than ₹2,000/-

  4. not have already received similar assistance from another government scheme for the same aid

Application Process (Offline)

A. Identification and Disability Proof:

  1. Aadhar Card

  2. UDID Card

B. Residence and Income Proof:
3. Residential / Domicile Certificate (Maharashtra)
4. Income Certificate

C. Others:
5. Age Proof (Birth Certificate / Class 10th or 12th Marksheet)
6. Two passport-sized photographs (signed across)
7. Bank account details (Bank Name, Branch, IFSC Code, etc.)
