To support and encourage inclusive education by providing financial assistance to children with benchmark disabilities studying in early school years (Classes 1–8), thereby reducing dropout rates and promoting equal learning opportunities.
Scholarship of ₹200/- per month (amount may vary by specific class or budget allocation).
Direct benefit to students through bank transfer.
Disability Criteria:
Applicant must have 40% or more disability (Benchmark Disability as per RPwD Act, 2016).
Academic Criteria:
Must be a student of Class 1 to Class 8.
Should not have failed in the last examination (repeaters are not eligible).
Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.
Income Criteria:
Annual income of parents/guardians must not exceed ₹2.5 lakhs from all sources.
a. Collect the prescribed application form from the Social Welfare Department or school administration.
b. Attach all the required documents (as mentioned in section D).
c. Submit the completed application to the District Welfare Office or the designated school authority.
Academic Documents:
Xerox copy of the Progress Report of the last class/year passed.
Disability Proof:
Disability Certificate or UDID Card.
Banking Details:
Xerox copy of the front page of the applicant’s Bank Passbook.
Income Proof:
Original Income Certificate (only for fresh applicants).
Must be issued in the current financial year.
Should be in the format of Annexure I or II.
