To encourage higher education among students with disabilities by providing financial assistance, ensuring access to learning opportunities beyond primary levels.
Financial assistance is provided to eligible students with benchmark disabilities to support their continued education from Class 9 onwards.
Disability Criteria:
Applicant must have 40% or more disability, certified as per RPwD Act, 2016.
Academic Criteria:
Must be studying in Class 9, 10 or above in any recognized institution.
Income Criteria:
No income limit is applicable.
Other Conditions:
No additional conditions or exclusions apply.
a. Collect the prescribed application form from the Office of the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO).
b. Fill the form accurately and attach all required documents.
c. Submit the completed application form at the District Social Welfare Office in your respective district.
Disability Proof:
UDID Card (Unique Disability ID).
Academic Proof:
Certificate of educational qualification (latest mark sheet or school/college bonafide certificate).
