To promote social integration and dignity of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities by encouraging inter-abled marriages through financial incentives.
Incentive Amount: ₹ 2,50,000/- per eligible couple
Disbursement Mechanism:
Through Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) to a joint bank account.
Lock-in Period: 3 years, with phased withdrawal:
🔹 10% after 6 months
🔹 10% after 1 year
🔹 80% after 3 years of successful marriage
Withdrawal Condition: Must be under joint signatures of both spouses.
Disability Requirement:
One partner must have Benchmark Disability (≥ 40%).
Age Criteria:
Bridegroom must be 21 years or older.
Bride must be 18 years or older.
Residency:
Both spouses must be residents of Odisha.
Other Conditions:
The marriage must be dowry-free.
Neither spouse should have availed this incentive previously.
If eligible for similar incentives from multiple departments (e.g., ST & SC Dev., SSEPD), beneficiaries must choose only one.
In the event of divorce within 3–5 years, the non-disabled spouse must refund 50% of the total amount.
Fraudulent claims are punishable under Section 91 of the RPwD Act, 2016 with fine/imprisonment.

UDID Card of the disabled spouse
Proof of Marriage:
Marriage Registration Certificate issued by competent authority
Photograph:
Self-attested Postcard Size Joint Photograph of the couple
Proof of Residence:
Residential Certificate issued by Tahsildar or other authentic authority
Bank Details:
Aadhar-linked Joint Bank Account of husband & wife
Bank Authorization for e-transfer via IFMS
