Details

To provide monthly financial support to persons with disabilities based on the degree of disability and age group to improve their living conditions and self-sufficiency.

Benefits

a. Disability-Based Assistance:

1. 40% to 65% disability: ₹2,000/month

2. 66% to 85% disability: ₹2,500/month

3. 86% to 100% disability: ₹3,500/month

b. Age-Based Assistance:

1. Age 60 to 79 years: ₹2,700/month

2. Age 80 years and above: ₹3,800/month

Eligibility

a. The applicant must be a native/resident of Puducherry for at least 5 years.

b. For Orthopaedic/Deaf Blindness: Disability should be 40% or more.

c. For Intellectual Disability: The IQ must be below 69.

d. Annual income should not exceed ₹75,000 per annum.
