A. To provide financial support to persons with benchmark disabilities
B. To ensure inclusion of those who are not covered under the Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)
C. To enhance the livelihood and dignity of disabled individuals from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families
A. A monthly pension of ₹1,500 is provided to eligible beneficiaries
B. The pension is transferred directly to the Jan Dhan bank account of the beneficiary
A. Applicant must be a resident of the state of Sikkim
B. Must belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category
C. Disability should be 40% or more, as per the RPwD Act 2016
D. Applicant must:
1. Not be a beneficiary under the Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS)
2. Have a bank account under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana
A. Visit the local office of the Department of Social Welfare or concerned authority
B. Collect and fill out the application form for CMDPS
C. Attach the required documents
D. Submit the form and collect acknowledgment
A. Recent passport-size photographs (at least 2)
B. Proof of Identification and Eligibility:
1. Income Certificate
2. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
3. Below Poverty Line Certificate
C. Attested photocopy of:
1. Aadhar Card
2. First page of Bank or Post Office Passbook
3. UDID Card
