To empower persons with benchmark disabilities by providing them with concessional loans for self-employment or income-generating activities.

Benefits

Loan Support:

1. Loan amount: Up to ₹50 lakhs.

2. Interest rate: Concessional rates ranging from 4% to 9%.

3. Repayment period: Up to 10 years.

Eligibility

a. Disability Criteria:

1. Must have a benchmark disability (40% and above) under the RPwD Act, 2016.

b. Age Criteria:

1. Must be above 18 years of age.

2. For persons with intellectual disabilities, minimum age is 14 years.

c. Income Criteria:

1. No income limit.

d. Other Conditions:

1. Must possess a valid Unique Disability ID (UDID).

Application Process (Offline)

Via Lending Bodies:

1. Apply through State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs), recognized partner banks, or NGOs.

2. Submit required documents and project report.

Documents Required

Personal and Project Documents:

1. Age certificate.

2. UDID card.

3. Income proof (if required by lending body).

4. Project report detailing the business or activity for which loan is sought.
