A. To promote self-employment and economic independence among Persons with Disabilities
B. To provide financial assistance for setting up income-generating units
A. 100% financial assistance (subsidy) for units up to ₹50,000/-
B. For units above ₹50,000/-, financial assistance will be linked with a bank loan
C. Subsidy pattern ensures direct support for economic empowerment of PwDs
A. Persons with 40% or more disability as per RPwD Act, 2016
B. Age: 21 to 55 years
C. Annual family income should not exceed:
1. ₹1.5 lakhs (Rural areas)
2. ₹2 lakhs (Urban areas)
D. Additional conditions:
1. Candidate must not have availed subsidy from the Disabled Welfare Department or any other department/government agency in the past 5 years
2. Only one self-employment scheme per household in 5 years
3. Beneficiaries will be ineligible for similar schemes for the next 5 years
4. Priority may be given to those with technical qualifications or relevant experience in the proposed activity
A. Step 1: Visit the District Welfare Office for Disabled & Senior Citizens
B. Step 2: Collect the application form for the Economic Rehabilitation Scheme
C. Step 3: Fill in all required fields with accurate information
D. Step 4: Attach self-attested copies of required documents
E. Step 5: Submit the form at the same office and obtain acknowledgment/receipt
A. UDID Card of the person with disability
B. Aadhar Card
C. Bank details (copy of passbook or cancelled cheque)
D. Income certificate from the competent authority
