To provide financial assistance to persons affected with leprosy who are not curable by surgical or other means, and who do not receive any other pension from the Tamil Nadu Government.
A. Monthly allowance of ₹2,000/-
B. Paid directly into the beneficiary’s bank account
A. Applicant must be leprosy affected with 40% or more deformity (as per RPwD Act, 2016)
B. Must not be a recipient of any other pension benefit from Tamil Nadu Government
C. Resident of Tamil Nadu
A. Step 1: Visit the District Differently Abled Welfare Officer (DDAWO) during office hours
B. Step 2: Request the application form from designated staff
C. Step 3: Complete the form and attach required documents (self-attested, if necessary)
D. Step 4: Submit the application to the DDAWO
E. Step 5: Obtain an acknowledgment/receipt mentioning date, time, and application ID
A. National Identity Card of the Differently Abled Person
B. Family Card (Ration Card)
C. Disability Certificate from a qualified doctor confirming the condition is not curable
D. Bank Account Details (passbook or canceled cheque)
E. Any Other Documents, if required by the district authority
