he scheme provides standard, durable, and scientifically manufactured aids and appliances to eligible Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to reduce disability effects and enhance their independence, social integration, and economic potential.
a. Free or subsidized aids and assistive devices for PwDs depending on income level and device cost.
b. Devices include mobility aids, prosthetics, orthotics, hearing aids, Braille kits, motorized wheelchairs, and more.
a. Disability Criteria:
Must have 40% or more disability (Benchmark Disability).
For motorized tricycle/wheelchair:
Must have 80% or more disability, OR
Students aged 16+ with 40%+ disability (under ADIP SSA component).
Students below 40% disability are also eligible under ADIP SSA for basic aids.
b. Income Criteria:
For 100% subsidy: Monthly family income ≤ ₹22,500.
For 50% subsidy: Monthly family income ≤ ₹30,000.
For dependents, parent/guardian income applies.
c. Age: No age restriction.
d. The applicant must not have received the same aid in the last 3 years (for customized aids: 1 year for children <18 years).

Visit Head Office of any implementing agency.
Walk-in to PM Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) – ALIMCO centers.
Attend Camps organized by Implementing Agencies.
Submit physical documents at centers.

Address proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Ration Card, etc.)
Income certificate or self-certification of monthly income
