The scheme aims to provide vocational and skill development training to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to improve their employability, self-reliance, and social integration
a. Free skill training in a variety of sectors including IT, hospitality, beauty and wellness, electronics, manufacturing, and more.
b. Certification upon completion of training, enhancing chances for employment or entrepreneurship.
a. Type of Disability:
All Benchmark Disabilities (≥ 40%) as per RPwD Act 2016.
b. Age:
Between 15 to 59 years.
c. Other Criteria:
Must be a citizen of India.
Should not have undergone other skill training in the past one year.
Must enroll in a course as per NCVET approved Qualification Packs (QPs) and eligibility based on age, education, and disability type.
