a. The National Awards aim to recognize and honour the achievements of persons with disabilities, and contributions of individuals and institutions working for the empowerment of PwDs.

b. Award Components:

1. Individual Excellence – Cash Prize, Medal, and Certificate.

2. Institutional Excellence – Certificate and Shield.

Eligibility

a. Type of Disability:

1. Benchmark Disability (40% or above) under RPwD Act, only for individual awards.

2. No disability requirement for Institutional Awards.

b. Age:

1. 18 years and above for Individual Excellence awards.

2. Up to 18 years for Outstanding Bal/Balika Awards.

c. Income Criteria:

1. No income criteria.

Application Process (Offline)

Not applicable. Applications are accepted only through online mode.
