Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) aims to provide physical aids and assistive living devices to Senior Citizens. Targeted for age-related disabilities, including:
Low Vision
Hearing Impairment
Loss of Teeth
Locomotor Disability
a. Free distribution of aids and assistive devices such as:
Walking sticks
Elbow crutches
Walkers / Crutches
Tripods / Quadripods
Hearing aids
Wheelchairs
Artificial dentures
Spectacles
b. Improves mobility, independence, and quality of life for the elderly.
a. Must be a Senior Citizen:
Aged 60 years or above
Indian citizen
b. Belonging to either:
BPL category, or
Monthly income not more than ₹15,000
c. Disability must be age-related (not congenital or acquired earlier in life).
d. Must possess a valid Aadhaar card.
a. Contact the District Social Welfare Office or Local Nodal Agency identified by ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India).
b. Participate in assessment camps conducted in districts.
c. Fill and submit the application/enrolment form during the camp with required documents.

b. Income Proof (any one of the following):
Income Certificate issued by District Authority
BPL Ration Card
Proof of receiving pension under:
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS), or
Any other State/UT Government Old Age Pension Scheme
c. Optional:
Medical certificate confirming age-related disability (if applicable)
