Composite Regional Centres (CRCs) are established as outreach centres or extensions of National Institutes (NIs). CRCs function as resource hubs for:
Rehabilitation services
Skill development training
Educational and vocational support
Capacity building of professionals
Awareness generation among communities and families
a. Access to comprehensive rehabilitation services for all categories of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
b. Skill development programs and vocational training tailored to disability-specific needs.
c. Educational support, early intervention, assistive technology, and counselling services.
d. Training of rehabilitation professionals, caregivers, and community workers.
e. Programs to empower parents and community members on disability rights and needs.
a. Any individual with a Benchmark Disability (40% or above) as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016.
b. All age groups are eligible.
c. No income criteria.
a. Visit the nearest CRCs centre relevant to your region or disability type.
b. Fill out the registration/enrolment form available at the centre.
c. Undergo preliminary assessment and counselling if required.
