Details

To provide assistive aids and appliances to persons with disabilities having 100% benchmark disability as per the RPwD Act, 2016.

Assistance includes:

• Tricycles

• Wheelchairs

• Crutches

• Walking sticks

• Blind sticks

• Rollators

• Hearing Aids

Benefits

a. Free distribution of assistive aids and appliances to enhance mobility, independence, and daily functioning of PwDs.

b. Tailored assistance based on prescription or need.

Eligibility

a. Applicant must be a resident of Arunachal Pradesh.

b. Must have 100% disability (any type covered under the RPwD Act, 2016).

c. No age restriction.

d. No income or other eligibility conditions apply.

Application Process (Offline)

a. Prepare an application on plain paper requesting the required aid.

b. Submit the application with the required documents to:

State Disability Rehabilitation Centre (SDRC)
Directorate of Social Justice and Empowerment & Tribal Affairs
Government of Arunachal Pradesh
