Financial Assistance to Physically /Intellectually Disabled Children of Beneficiary

Details

To provide monthly financial support to construction workers registered under the Board, whose child has a benchmark disability.

Benefits

a. Financial assistance of ₹1,000/- per month per child with a disability.

b. Maximum two disabled children per beneficiary can avail the benefit.

c. Assistance continues as long as the child is alive.

Eligibility

a. The child of the applicant must have a benchmark disability (40% and above) as per RPwD Act, 2016.

b. The beneficiary parent must:

  1. Be working in an establishment registered under the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965.

  2. Have contributed regularly to the labour welfare fund.

  3. Be a member of the Board for at least 6 months before applying.

c. Benefit is limited to a maximum of 2 children with disability per registered construction worker.

Application Process (Offline)

a. Collect and fill the prescribed application form from the CBOCW Board office.

b. Attach all required documents (see below).

c. Submit the application at the Chandigarh BOCW Board office.

Documents Required

a. Photographs & Identity Proof:

  1. Passport-size photograph of the applicant

  2. Aadhar Card of the applicant

  3. Aadhar Card of the child (nominee)

b. Disability Certification:

  1. UDID Card of the child with disability

c. Membership & Employment Proof:

  1. Filled-in/signed form of CBOCW Board

  2. BOCW Card, if available

  3. Receipt of regular payment into the Welfare Fund

d. Banking Details:

  1. Bank passbook copy or bank account details of the applicant

e. Additional:

  1. Any other relevant documents as required by the Board
