To support voluntary organizations (NGOs) working for persons with disabilities by providing financial assistance (grant-in-aid) for education, training, residential arrangements, and rehabilitation services.
a. Financial grant is provided for:
Free education, training, and residential arrangements
Rehabilitation of persons with disabilities
Salary support for staff
Ambulance, building rent, and office expenses
b. Grant pattern (Recurring):
Office expenses: 70% of expenditure, up to ₹2,000
Teaching and training: 70% of expenditure, up to ₹1,000
Building rent: 70% of expenditure
Maintenance/rehabilitation/treatment: ₹600 per inmate/month
Salaries of employees: 100%, as per approved collector rate
a. Must be a registered and accredited institution with the Department.
b. Must have minimum 3 years of experience working in the field of disability welfare.
a. The voluntary organization must apply in the prescribed format.
b. Application must be forwarded by the District Officer to the Directorate of Social Welfare.
c. Must include:
Collector's recommendation
Inspection report
Audit report
d. Upon administrative approval, the grant is sanctioned.

b. Aadhar Card
c. Registration certificate of the NGO
d. Accreditation certificate from the Department

f. Inspection report
g. Application in prescribed format with project proposal
