To provide financial assistance through monthly scholarships to school-going and college students with benchmark disabilities, to encourage their education and reduce dropout rates.
Monthly scholarship amount based on educational level:
a. ₹150/month – for students from Class 1 to 5
b. ₹170/month – for students from Class 6 to 8
c. ₹190/month – for students from Class 9 to 12
(Amount may be revised as per government notification)
a. Must be a resident of Chhattisgarh
b. Must have a benchmark disability (40% or more as per RPwD Act 2019)
c. Must be a regular student enrolled in:
School (any board)
College
Technical course (ITI, diploma, etc.)
d. Parental/Guardian income must be less than ₹8,000 per month
a. Application must be submitted in the prescribed format
b. Submit through the Head of Institution (school/college/technical institute)
c. Applications to be submitted at the District Office of Social Welfare or Janpad Panchayat Office
d. The District Social Welfare Office holds the right to accept or reject applications after verification
a. Disability Certificate (40% or more)
b. Income Certificate (not older than 6 months, showing income < ₹8,000/month)
c. Residence Certificate (Chhattisgarh domicile)
d. Bonafide/Enrollment Certificate from school/college/technical institute
e. Application Form (duly filled in prescribed format)
f. UDID Card (if available, recommended)
