Bus Travelling Facility for Visually Impaired/Bus Concession

Details

To facilitate free travel in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses for persons with 100% visual impairment, and offer 50% concession to their escort/attendant.

Benefits

• a) Free travel in DTC buses for persons with 100% vision impairment.

• b) 50% concession on fare for one escort/attendant of the eligible person.

Eligibility

• a) Disability:
   1) Applicant must have 100% visual impairment.

• b) Residence:
   1) Must be a resident of Delhi.

• c) Income:
   1) No income criteria.

Application Process (Offline)

• a) Step 01: Obtain the application form from the respective DTC depot by paying ₹1.

• b) Step 02: Fill in the form and attach the required documents.

• c) Step 03: Submit the form and documents at the same DTC depot.

• d) Step 04: After verification, the bus pass will be issued.

Documents Required

• a) Proof of Identity:
   1) Aadhaar Card (or any valid photo ID)

• b) Residential Proof:
   1) Document showing residence in Delhi

• c) Disability Certificate:
   1) Copy showing 100% visual impairment

• d) Card issued by SDM (if applicable)

• e) Passport-size Photograph
