Reimbursement of Cost of Aids and Appliances / Artificial Limbs

Details

To support the rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) by reimbursing the full cost of essential aids, appliances, and artificial limbs through the District Rehabilitation Centre, Bhiwani.

Benefits

 

  • a) 100% reimbursement of the cost incurred for:

    1. Aids and appliances

    2. Artificial limbs

  • b) Support provided via the District Rehabilitation Centre, Bhiwani

 

Eligibility

  • a) Must have Benchmark Disability (40% or above) as defined under RPwD Act, 2016

  • b) Open to all age groups

  • c) Must be a resident of Haryana

  • d) No income criteria

Application Process (Offline)

 

  • a) Step 1: Visit the District Rehabilitation Centre, Bhiwani

  • b) Step 2: Submit a claim form for reimbursement along with required documents

  • c) Step 3: The application is verified and processed for reimbursement

 

Documents Required

 

  • a) UDID Card

  • b) (Additional documents like bills/invoices, prescription by a government medical authority, and bank details may be required during application at the District Rehabilitation Centre)
