Disability Assistance for Registered Worker (HBOCWWB)

Details

To provide lump sum financial assistance to registered construction workers who acquire benchmark disabilities (40% and above) due to workplace accidents during the course of employment.

Benefits

• a) Based on the percentage of disability, the assistance is:

  1. Up to 50% Disability – ₹1,50,000

  2. 51% to 75% Disability – ₹2,00,000

  3. 76% or above – ₹3,00,000

Eligibility

• a) Applicant must be:

  1. A registered construction worker under the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB)

  2. A regular member of the board

• b) Disability must be:

  1. 40% or more, as per the RPwD Act, 2016

  2. Caused by a workplace accident during the course of employment

Application Process (Offline)

• a) Collect the application form from the local Labour Welfare Office

• b) Submit the completed form along with the necessary documents to the same office

• a) Identity Proof (Aadhar Card / Voter ID)

• b) Passport-size Photograph

• c) Work Slip or employment proof

• d) Proof of Residence (Ration Card)

• e) Bank Account Details

• f) Caste Certificate (if applicable)

• g) Birth Certificate (if applicable)

• h) UDID Card (showing 40% or more disability)
