a) To encourage students with disabilities to pursue and continue their education.
b) To provide financial assistance to reduce the dropout rate among students with benchmark disabilities.
a) Financial support through scholarships to eligible students with disabilities.
b) Applicable for students studying in government or private recognized schools, colleges, or universities.
c) Children with disabilities enrolled in registered special schools are also covered.
a) Applicant must have at least 40% permanent disability, certified by a competent medical authority.
b) Applicant must be a regular student of a recognized government or private school, college, or university.
c) Applicant must not be receiving any other stipend/scholarship from another source.
d) Students in special schools are eligible, provided the school is registered under the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995.
a) The applicant shall fill the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-I).
b) The filled application must be submitted to the school/college/university where the applicant is currently enrolled.
