a) To encourage and recognize employers in public and private sectors who employ persons with disabilities (PwDs).
b) To incentivize inclusive employment practices and promote a minimum of 5% representation of PwDs in the workforce.
a) State-level recognition and award to employers (public or private) promoting the inclusion of PwDs in their workforce.
b) Promotes:
1. Better representation of PwDs in employment.
2. Equal working conditions and facilities.
3. Innovative practices that support PwDs at the workplace.
a) Employers from both public and private sectors are eligible.
b) Persons and organizations must meet the following assessment criteria:
1. Number of PwDs employed in the organization.
2. Representation of PwDs at mid and high-level positions.
3. Diversity and extent of disabilities represented.
4. Innovative or unique efforts to hire PwDs in unexplored sectors.
5. Provision of additional facilities such as transportation and housing.
6. Provision of equitable service conditions.
7. Evidence of high employee satisfaction, verified through local inquiry.
a) Applications are invited annually by the Director, SCs, OBCs & Minority Affairs, Himachal Pradesh.
b) Notice is published in leading regional newspapers by 30th June every year.
c) Applications are to be submitted in prescribed formats (Annexure-I to V) as applicable.
a) UDID Cards of the employees with disabilities employed by the organization.
b) Properly filled Annexure-I to V (as per category).
c) Any supporting documentation related to the eligibility criteria (employment records, facility proofs, etc.).
