Details

A. To provide monthly financial assistance to persons with benchmark disabilities in Jammu and Kashmir
B. To ensure economic support through direct bank transfer (DBT)

Benefits

A. ₹1000 per month per eligible beneficiary
B. Amount is transferred directly to the beneficiary's bank account through DBT mode

Eligibility

A. Must be a resident of Jammu & Kashmir
B. Age between 18 and 79 years
C. Must have benchmark disability (≥40%), preferably severe or multiple disabilities
D. Total annual income of the applicant should be:

1. Below ₹75,000/-, or

2. From a BPL (Below Poverty Line) household

Application Process (Offline)

A. Applicant needs to submit the application in-person at the concerned Social Welfare Office / Tehsil Office
B. Application form must be complete with all supporting documents
C. Verification and recommendation are done by local authorities
D. Pension is sanctioned upon successful verification

Documents Required

A. Personal Documents:

1. Proof of Residence (Ration Card / Voter ID / Domicile Certificate)

2. Passport-sized photograph

3. Personal declaration of eligibility

B. Disability Proof:

1. Valid UDID Card (40% or more benchmark disability)

C. Income Proof (any one of the following):

1. Income Certificate (showing income less than ₹75,000/year)

2. BPL Certificate

D. Bank Details:

1. Copy of Aadhar Card

2. Copy of Bank Passbook (for DBT)
