Financial Assistance to Disabled Students Pursuing 10th, 11th, 12th Equivalent Exams

Details

To provide financial support to differently abled students (with 40% or more disability) who are pursuing Class 10, 11, and 12 equivalent education, helping them meet course, registration, admission, and exam-related expenses.

Benefits

A. Class 10 (SC students):

  1. ₹1,750/- for Course Fee

  2. ₹500/- for Exam Fee

  3. ₹100/- for Registration

B. Class 11:

  1. ₹1,950/- for Course Fee

  2. ₹700/- for Exam Fee

  3. ₹100/- for Registration

  4. ₹200/- for Admission Fee

C. Class 12 (+2):

  1. ₹1,950/- for Course Fee

Eligibility

A. Disability Criteria:

  1. Must have 40% or more benchmark disability as per RPwD Act, 2016

B. Age Criteria:

  1. Must be 18 years or above

C. Residential Criteria:

  1. Must be a resident of Kerala

D. Income Criteria:

  1. No income limit

  2. Students from APL and BPL categories are eligible

Application Process (Offline)

A. Applications are collected through:

  1. Anganwadi workers

  2. District Social Justice Officers (DSJOs)

B. Verification and Sanctioning:

  1. CDPOs conduct enquiry and verification

  2. DSJOs ensure course completion and certificate distribution by the State Literacy Mission

Documents Required

A. Identification:

  1. Aadhar Card or other valid ID proof

  2. Passport-size photograph

B. Disability & Educational Proof:

  1. UDID Card

  2. Educational Certificates

C. Financial Documents:

  1. Income Certificate or Copy of Ration Card (if applicable)

  2. BPL Card (if applicable)

  3. Bank account details (copy of passbook)
